It’s official, after what felt like a lifetime of rumors and speculation, the iPhone 4 has been confirmed as a smartphone to be sold on Verizon Wireless. Verizon CEO Lowell McAdam gave the final word right after boasting about Verizon’s new LTE technology, although the Verizon iPhone 4 will not be using it.
the CDMA Verizon iPhone 4 will be available to everyone on February 10th but current Verizon customers will be able to upgrade/pre-order on February 3rd. The prices will be identical to AT&T’s prices: $200 for the 16GB model on a two year agreement, $300 for the 32GB version.
