iPhone 4S is the Most Sold Among Carriers

Although many have their sights set on the iPhone 5, lets not forget the phone that many are using right this minute. We all know that the iPhone 4S would be a success but one tech analysis company has the data to back it up.

Canaccord Genuity says their research tells them that the iPhone 4S was the top selling smartphone on all three carriers (Verizon, Sprint, AT&T) in November. What’s more is that Apple’s devices among carriers have taken the top spot the entire year thus far. Samsung has been making strides with their products, coming in second most months but has yet to surpass the iPhone 4S.

An unexpected delight to grace us all is Siri, which shipped with every new iPhone 4S. Siri has been a huge success, allowing us iPhone 4S users to vocally schedule appointments, request music, add contacts, call phone numbers, check stocks and weather, plus much more.

Of course, with any Apple product or service, comes those who uncontrollably turn it into a hilarious video parody. CollegeHumor takes the credit for this one. A man and a Woman argue but through the iPhone 4S Siri app.

Apple Releases the iPhone 4S to the World

Thanks to a new antenna system and faster processing as a result of a new chip, the Apple iPhone 4S was unveiled as a next generation with even more features and benefits. Along with faster downloads, one of the key benefits is the voice activated virtual assistant. Not only does it read text messages but the assistant named Siri will give you reminders and answer questions that you might have.

The new iPhone 4S will also be twice as fast as the iPhone 4 due to the high resolution Retina Display, which is what you will find powering the iPad 2. The iPhone 4S will allow for 1080p HD video recording and has been redone to let users take improved pictures in lower light and snap shots faster than on other phones. Along with an improved battery that adds at least another hour of talk time and an upgraded 8 megapixel camera and you have a winner.

The iPhone 4S will hit the stores on October 14th at a price of around $199-$399 depending on the contract you choose and will be available through AT&T, Verizon and Sprint.
