iPhone 4 Sells out in China

China residents are jumping for joy over the iPhone 4, Apple’s best handset yet. Apple released their iPhone 4 in China on September 25th, as you can see in the video, it was a huge success. Unicom, the Chinese carrier for the iPhone told the Wall Street Journal that by the end of Sept 25, more than 30, thousand customers purchased the iPhone 4 and bundle package.

Unicom is now out of stock for iPhone 4 handsets and is pushing Apple for more. Apple responded by assuring awaiting customers in China that more units are on the way and to check online at your local store for availability.

Comparing the iPhone 4 Camera to a Dedicated Device

newteevee recently conducted a neat experiment in-which iPhone 4 footage was compared to the new FlipHD footage. Overall, the footage isn’t too different. The Flip does perform a little better and as you can see in the video, the iPhone 4 struggles a little to correct in harsh light but other then that, it’s virtually the same.

It might not come as much of a surprise but the iPhone 4 is equipped with, by far, the best camera of all smartphones on the market as of now. Just another reason to go with an iPhone, in a couple years, a point-and-shoot won’t be necessary.

Time running Out to get a Free iPhone 4 Bumper Case

It’s not that there isn’t enough to go around, it’s simply that Apple has decided enough is enough and will be ending the free iPhone 4 bumper case program, said to fix antenna issues, on September 30th. This doesn’t necessarily mean you can’t get one though. Those of you who have purchased an iPhone 4 before September 30th are still eligible but must take action before October 30th. Those who purchase an iPhone 4 after September 30th will not be eligible.

One solid reason Apple is ending the program is because of updates to the operating system coming out soon and later this year. iOS 4.1 is rumored to fix issues with the proximity sensor and antenna.

Awesome Video Quality For Justin.tv App on the iPhone 4

Justin.tv CEO admits that they aren’t the first ones to take notice in the mobile streaming video market, not even the third or fourth. Services like Qik have been available for some time now. What makes the Justin.tv application for the iPhone 4 really stand out is it’s pretty impressive video and audio quality. It’s clear that Justin.tv wants to break free from the rest and leave the other services playing catch-up.

The Application allows you complete control from your iPhone, even down to registering an account and logging in. No need to visit the website. You can stream live video or record a video. It’s possible to shoot with either the front or back-facing camera. You can see who’s watching and chatting as well as chat back. It’s possible to stream video using Wifi, 3G or even EDGE, although, performance would suffer using a poor network like EDGE. You can pick it up for free in the iTunes marketplace.

TomTom Giving Free iPhone 4 Adapters to Existing Car Kit Owners

TomTom is a brand well known in the United States for their affordable and quality GPS products, specifically in-car navigation units. Only coming in second to Garmin, but Garmin is often much more expensive. The iPhone 4 means more sales for a lot of companies that piggy-back off of Apple’s products, accessories. TomTom is saying “no!” to more spending by providing free iphone 4 adapters to car kit owners.

The iPhone 4 is sleeker and somewhat smaller than the previous, iPhone 3GS which means the device slips right out of the mount. TomTom has a fix and it’s completely free, head on over here to claim the adapter.

Add A Keyboard to Your iPhone 4

Apple is known not only for their great hardware but for their beautiful and simplistic user-interface. That’s enough for some, but for others the absence of a physical QWERTY keyboard holds them back from jumping on the iPhone bandwagon. Blackberry is still the most used smartphone on the market today and is widely accepted in the business world not only for it’s powerful QWERTY keyboard but for it’s email service as well.

Thanks to Nuu Mini Case that fits snugly over the iPhone 4, a powerful and improved iPhone is born. A smartphone that has it all. A brilliant UI, huge application base and a full QWERTY keyboard. The keyboard itself connects via Bluetooth so it doesn’t tie-up the dock connector. The case is expected to go on sale in November.

White iPhone 4 and Verizon Nowhere to be Found

Steve Jobs took the stage today at it’s official press event, the crowd was filled with anticipation. Much artificially created by much rumors and media hype that Apple would announced a new iTV, the white iPhone 4 or that Apple would finally be moving to Verizon. None of that was mentioned. That’s not to say it won’t come to pass. It will, Apple just isn’t ready yet.

What Steve did talk about wasn’t half bad though. The next generation of Apple products was unveiled, or at least the rest of them.  A slicker iPod Shuffle and iPod Touch were among the highlights. The iPod Tuch will feature the same display used in the iPhone 4 and will include Facetime with a fron and back camera. The back camera able to record in HD, same as the iPhone 4.
