Iphone 4 Porn, Here it Comes!

Apple has a no-porn policy and has- as most of you know- been very strict about applications they approve to be included in the itunes app store. The sex industry, AKA Porn, is interested in taking advantage of the iPhone 4′s video conference capability, known as FaceTime. FaceTime allows one iPhone 4 user to communicate in realtime with both video and audio to another iPhone 4 user.

Apple is unable to restrict use of FaceTime for shady purposes like the use of Porn services, it would be like restricting who you can and cannot call, not going to happen. Some porn companies have already begun their search for talent on Graigslist and the like, even offering a free iPhone 4 for their hires.

iPhone 4 Upload Speed on AT&T Being Fixed

HSUPA or High Speed Uplink Packet Access has had some iPhone 4 users disappointed in AT&T. Reports started a few weeks ago about poor upload speeds using the iPhone 4 on AT&T. Some went as far as to say that AT&T had pulled a bait and switch, capping speeds in a tier system. AT&T denied those claims.

It was later announced that HSUPA, a technology that older phones like the iPhone 3G weren’t capable of, is now effecting upload speeds on the iPhone 4, although download speeds aren’t effected. AT&T states that a patch is in place and should take effect gradually in the next couple of weeks. Upload speeds on the iPhone 4 are currently capped at 384 kbps, the normal 3G upload speed, until the patch is finalized.

Iphone 4 Coming to US T-Mobile?

As AT&T’s 5 year exclusivity agreement with Apple is nearing it’s end nad there are rumors flying about what Apple will do next, especially, which carrier or carriers will Apple choose to sell the iPhone 4 and iPad to. Verizon is an easy guess as they have the upper-hand on contracts, second to AT&T.

Things aren’t so clear now as speculation picks up about Apple possibly aiming for T-Mobile or T-Mobile and Verizon. Cult of Mac reports that a highly places source tells them that T-Mobile and Apple are discussing to sell the iPhone 4 in the US this Autumn.

The iPhone 4 is currently unable to run on T-Mobile’s 3G network in the US due to the difference in frequencies. One company would have to have to make some changes in-order for a deal to be made.

iPhone 4 Launching in More Countries

If you are fed up with the availability of the iPhone 4 then this may just be your lucky week. Apple announced on their sites recently that 8 more countries will see the iPhone 4 by the end of the week, July 30th to be exact.  Prices usually go up for countries other than the US, UK and CAN so it may in-fact be cheaper to order over-seas, we will just have to wait and find out. Here is the list of countries the iPhone 4 will be coming to this Friday:

  1. Austria, Belgium
  2. Hong Kong
  3. Ireland
  4. Luxembourg
  5. Mexico
  6. Netherlands

New iPod Touch Rumors Begin

Several reputable blogs and online news outlets are reporting on this rumor. A fourth generation iPod Touch may be in the works. Retailers say that this new iPod touch will come with many of the new features from the iPhone 4: 5 megapixel camera, facetime, HD video recording and a gyroscope.

U.K. retailer John Lewis said the information is based on “noises we’re hearing from suppliers”. Though no mention was specifically made of a forward-facing camera at the company’s presentation in London, it did say that FaceTime calling over Wi-Fi would be possible “so you can communicate with friends at zero cost.”

Speculators say the fourth generation iPod Touch could hit store shelves in September of this year.

iPhone 4 on Verizon

It’s long been said and speculated that Apple could make a deal to sell the iPhone 4 on Verizon’s network after it’s exclusivity contract is up with AT&T. Verizon is the largest US cell phone carrier and doesn’t seem to have the AT&T 3G problems that so many iPhone users complain about. Apple will be in a good position soon but if the switch is made or if Apple carries on both networks, it will mean trouble for AT&T either way. Android phones have been very popular with Verizon, that could soon change. There is no better time to get an iPhone!
